I want to bring about change through art to encourage all to pursue an education no matter what the obsticales
and to create your own potential , especially veterans of the armed forces .This includes protecting the wildlife and preserving our natural resources.
Art is our call to believe, imagine yourself and go for it. There is art in all of us, you just have to look .It may be that part of ourselves that has gone undiscovered. Drowned out the noise of the masses, Just waiting to come to the surface.
Through education and art lets learn to express our freedom and give a voice to the voiceless. lets protect what those guys overthere are fighting and dying to keep free. my mermaid is a mover and a shaker and she keeps me fluid and graceful in all my works. she pushes me to allow myself to surface and breath and share my insides with the outside.my mermaid draws the masses with its beauty but my she keeps you staring at my message. she urges us to look beneath the surface and find our treasure. "find your treasure and help the less fortunate find theirs." peace. mariks

self taught perpetually twisted but deliciuosly dark. i was born in portland and raised in the midwest as a kid, but i grew up in alaska. wasilla is my hometown.
living there was intense and beautiful and i did art always. poetry, stories ,murals, pen, pencil fingers ,needles ,costume, makeup, singing ,dancing ,and bird watching .do them all now still, but real hidden. wat i love the most is faces and skin blood bones fibers and the human mind when i hear you and feel you i can paint you in my mind.i like models fashion and everything photography .thank you all peace out

squished between me toes to the soles me bare feet
kissed me i suppose so tender please repeat
stars i may not see but no moon is just aright
if my leavin be to soon it neednt be so bright
laying on the grass eyes level to mine own
no beauty to surpass a uplifted tender stone
gathered in a heap , lovely instant hugged
steep cliffs jus to leap with a heartstring that you tugged
pressed against a highway up some pavement sratch
looking at the skyway your kisses for me to catch
